Programming the SEAV TXS1 Remote Control
How to program my remote from an old remote?
Inside your remote, you will find mini-switches commonly called “dip-switches.” For the remote to be functional, you must enter a code as follows:
- Open the case of your old remote or any remote that works with your garage door or gate.
- Open the case of your new blank remote.
- Reproduce the same combination on both remotes by positioning the dip-switches in the same way. These dip-switches must be set in the same position as your original remote. (using a pen tip or a small screwdriver. Be careful as some remotes may contain several pairs of additional dip-switches.)
- Close both remotes
- Congratulations! Your remote is ready!
Additional information: If you no longer have an old remote, you just need to open your receiver’s case where you will find the dip-switches. You just need to copy the combination of the dip-switches onto your new remote.
