Features of the PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote

The PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote is a small transmitter specially made for controlling automation and motorization of gates and garage doors. This white casing is programmable using mini-switches.

The PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote offers a good grip and has 3 white buttons. It operates with 12V batteries on a frequency of 433.92 MHz.

The casing of this device is rectangular in shape. Its dimensions are 68 x 40 x 16 mm (length x width x thickness).

The 3-channel PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote is a durable transmitter, perfectly suitable for residential use. As a guarantee of quality and to fully satisfy its customers, Alloremotecontrol offers a one-year warranty on all its products. Even better, you can opt for a second year of additional warranty when placing your order (see T&Cs).

Please note that this remote is compatible with the remote model JANE J-F4.

The PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote has many qualities

Many gate remote manufacturers often focus on the features of this small device and neglect its sturdiness and ease of use. Fortunately, this is not the case with this PROTECO remote model.

A gate remote that does not easily get damaged

This PROTECO remote model has been made from electronic components and robust materials. This means you can use the remote regularly without risking damage. This device will also withstand potential shocks and wear effects.

And of course, this remote has undergone numerous tests and evaluations. Thanks to this step, the risks of bugs and other malfunctions have been minimized. In short, you won’t have to change your gate remote for a long time.

An exceptionally effective gate remote

If you are looking for a gate remote with optimal range, then the PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote is what you need. Moreover, the signal emitted by this remote can pass through certain obstacles such as walls, doors, curtains, glass, and metal coverings.

It should also be noted that this remote has 3 transmission channels. Thanks to this system, you will be able to control 3 automations simultaneously. This will save you from having to buy and use multiple remotes at the same time.

A gate remote that is easy to use

The operation of the PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote is accessible to any user. With its switch programming system, integrating the code of this device into your automation receiver will be a breeze. It will only take you a few seconds (we will come back to this).

In addition, a simple and clean design greatly enhances the readability of the device. You will get used to this device from the very first use. You just need to press the button on your remote to control the opening and closing of your automation.

How to program the PROTECO PTX433405 OLD remote

As you may already suspect, your new remote will not be directly capable of controlling the opening and closing of your automated and motorized gate or garage door. First, you will need to control the opening and closing using a self-learning system. For this PROTECO remote model, programming is done by adjusting the mini-switches located in its casing. For this, you will need to use a remote that is already functional on the automation or the receiver itself.

Programming via the already functional remote

  1. Start by opening the casing of your already functional remote (T1) to access the mini-switches.
  2. Do the same for your new PROTECO remote (T2).
  3. You must now replicate the position of each mini-switch from remote T1 onto the new remote T2.
  4. Your new remote is now programmed. You just need to test it.

Programming via the receiver

  1. First, open the casing of your automation receiver. You will find a row of mini-switches.
  2. Now, open the casing of your new PROTECO remote and adjust the position of each mini-switch by copying those from your receiver.
  3. Your new remote is functional and ready to be used.
