In a co-ownership (more than 50 users), it is sometimes impossible to register a new remote control, as the radio receiver is intentionally locked by the system installer. Check with your installer to see if the system is locked or not.
If you are in a single-family home, there is nothing to worry about; the installation will not be blocked and programming is very simple.
