How to Program Your Remote with Mini-Switches (in 5 Steps)?

1. First, start by opening the casing of your old remote or any remote that works with your garage door or gate.
2. Next, open the casing of your new blank remote.
3. Then, replicate the same combination on both remotes by positioning the dip switches in the same way. This operation can be done using a pen tip or a small screwdriver. Note: some remotes may contain several pairs of additional dip switches. These dip switches must be set to the position of your original remote.
4. Next, close both remotes.
5. Finally, you can now check the proper functioning of your new remote.

Note: If you no longer have an old remote, simply open your receiver’s casing where you will find the dip switches. You just need to copy the combination of the dip switches onto your new remote.
