ALLMATIC IRIS BAT infrared photocells Thanks to a cutting-edge system, these photocells will allow you to detect any obstacle in the way of closing your automatic systems. They will thus be responsible for automatically stopping the closing path of your doors when an obstacle that is too bulky is in their path. The role of infrared photocells The operation of infrared photocells is simple: the photocells work in pairs, with a transmitting photocell and a receiver. The transmitter cell will send a signal to the receiver when an obstacle is deemed dangerous for your motor system. The receiving cell will send a stop signal to your motor system so that it can be protected from impact. The infrared photocell system has proven itself, particularly in terms of the safety of property, but also of people or animals: if a vulnerable person or animal is in the closing path of your doors, they could be injured without an obstacle detector. Thanks to photocells, the risk of impact will be greatly reduced, if not impossible. The ALLMATIC IRIS range of photocells This range of photocells was innovated by the Allmatic company, a rapidly expanding home automation company: thanks to its quality materials and production, Allmatic products have satisfied many users over the years. Focusing on the quality and safety of its motorization systems, Allmatic is a company that has quickly gained the trust of its customers. ALLMATIC IRIS photocells are infrared photocells that are fully adjustable and tiltable to 180°C horizontally, with a possible rotation of ± 10°. Their maximum range is 30m. For the most optimal operation, you will need to ensure the correct alignment of the cells: the LED will warn you of correct alignment or not. ALLMATIC IRIS BAT photocells This model of photocells is composed of a transmitter powered by battery (you will need 2 1.5V AA batteries for optimal operation) and a receiver, powered by a 12/24 Vac/ source. Vdc. You can connect 1 to 8 pairs of photocells. To do this, you will need to synchronize the transmission. ALLMATIC IRIS BAT infrared photocells are equipped with an EDGE function: the transmitter is wireless, and is equipped with an input for connecting a sensitive edge to an NC contact. Technical characteristics ALLMATIC IRIS BAT, IRIS ECO, IRIS, IRIS LED and IRIS PULS photocells are made up of a housing resistant to all weather events such as rain, fog or snow: they will not degrade your photocells or performance of these. On the other hand, you may notice a weakened range during significant snow episodes. You can lock the desired position using the lock, which you can tighten using a screw: if you wish to change the position, it is easily removable using a screwdriver. ALLMATIC IRIS BAT photocells are rectangular in shape, and are 135mm long, 35mm wide and 39.5mm deep. They have a short obstacle detection time estimated at 102.5 milliseconds, which will not give the obstacle time to damage your motor system. They will be resistant to extreme temperatures (-10°C to 55°C), splashing water and dust (thanks to an IP54 protection rating). Your ALLMATIC IRIS BAT photocells will be sold with the accessories necessary for installation, such as screws, gaskets and their instructions. Test batteries will be provided free of charge by Allo Remotecontrol. The batteries should be renewed every two years if possible, in order to maximize the capacities of your photocells and their protection against obstacles. Please note: the warranty will be limited to the repair and replacement of defective parts due to poor quality of the material. This will not cover all damage due to conditions or factors external to the defects of the brand’s parts.
