Presentation of ALLMATIC FT ALL 7 infrared cells Thanks to ALLMATIC FT ALL 7 infrared photocells, keep control of your automations by protecting them from bulky obstacles located on their closing path. In fact, the role of photocells is to prevent your gate or garage door from colliding with objects or living beings preventing the closing of your automations. They are used outdoors and are equipped with infrared sensors. Photocells represent a guarantee of safety since they prevent shocks if you, your car or your pet find themselves in the closing path of your automation. Closing will resume when the object is no longer in the path of your automation. Photocells work in pairs: two infrared photocells, one emitting and the other receiving. The transmitting cell is responsible for detecting the obstacle and sending the signal to the receiving cell, which will automatically stop the closing of your motors if the obstacle is deemed to be annoying for your automation. They are equipped with a synchronization circuit which allows the installation of paired photocells without interference in their signals and with a maximum range of 25m which you can select using a jumper. The infrared photocells are supplied with screws, cover, photocell body, spacer, plugs, power cable, fresnel lens, and light guide. These accessories will be essential for the installation of your photocells on your motorization system. Installation and alignment of ALLMATIC FT ALL 7 photocells To install your photocells, you will need to use the shortest cables possible, while avoiding connecting them near significant sources of interference, such as motors for example. To avoid any source of disturbance, it is recommended to carry out earthing, which must be carried out using short cables, with a section of less than 1.5mm². You can program your photocells in normal or synchronized mode Before installing your photocells and connecting them, first dismantle the housings of your cells. Then make the connection relying on the voltage polarities. All connection and operating instructions are detailed in your instructions, and are illustrated using explanatory diagrams. We advise you to refer to this manual in order to install your photocells in optimal conditions. Synchronized operation This operating mode is particularly useful in preventing interference between pairs of photocells: it will prevent transmitters and receivers of different pairs from creating interference between them. You can only synchronize the photocells if they are supplied with alternating voltage. Technical characteristics These miniature photocells are extremely compact, which has the advantage of greater discretion. They will be less visible, for still optimal performance. They will operate optimally at temperatures between -10°C and 55°C. Their response time is around 30 milliseconds, which will allow immediate reaction in the event of obstacles. Your system will be automatically shut down during this time. They have an infrared pulse frequency of 550Hz for a wavelength of 950nm. The maximum range of infrared signals from these photocells is 30m, but may be reduced in the event of snow, rain, fog or dust.
