Presentation of the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 digital code To control your gate and garage door automations, simply dial your 4-digit personal identification number (PIN), which you will have previously registered. This digital code allows you to control 3 different operators: each operator will have its own code which will allow you to control a different system. You will be able to set a temporary PIN (code) to allow certain visitors, such as maintenance staff, to enter it for a limited period of time. If desired, it is possible to add an additional device, such as exterior lighting. For this, it will be necessary to have an additional receiver. To control your doors, simply enter your code and press “ENTER”. The Marantec Command 231 code keypad is available in two frequencies: the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 model, operating at a frequency of 868Mhz, and the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 433 model, operating at a frequency of 433Mhz. Technical characteristics For optimal operation, the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 code keypad requires two 3V batteries, preferably CR2032 type. Its frequency of 868Mhz allows it to be used in many European countries. Its light weight will allow you comfort and optimal installation. Your digital coder will be protected from dust and jets of water, since it is equipped with IP54 protection. Installation procedure for the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 digital coder Installing the digital code is quick and easy to carry out. Thanks to the wall mount provided with your digital code, you can effectively attach your digital code to any surface. If you have any doubts, we advise you to carefully read the instructions provided with your product. This procedure must be carried out in a suitable location. It is recommended to use the wall support as a drilling template. 1st step: Drill and install the dowels provided at the drilling location 2nd step: When the dowels have been put in place, secure your wall support using the screws. If your wall is not made of wood, you can use other dowels and screws. 3rd step: Turn on your code keypad 4th step: Turn the lock clockwise to stabilize the digital code. The lock is located under the wall bracket. Please note that the MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 digital code is already programmed with a random code and a PIN. It is possible to transfer the code from your radio transmitter, if you benefit from it, to the digital code. If you wish to transfer the code from your transmitter to your digicode, you will need to follow the following steps: 1st step: Using the transfer pin, connect your transmitter to the digicode 2nd step: Hold down the button on your transmitter used to control your motorization 3rd step: Press the “ENTER” button on the code keypad until the keypad lighting turns on 4th step: You can now enter the new PIN on your digital code: once you have selected your code , press the “ENTER” key. 5th step: Hold down the button on your old transmitter until the LED of your MARANTEC COMMAND 231 868 digicode flashes 6th step: Your code has been transmitted to your code keypad and it is now programmed.
