Description

PROEM CIR10 infrared photoelectric cells allow you to optimize the safety of your automation and motorization systems. Thanks to this system, you will be able to benefit from an anti-obstacle barrier. PROEM CIR10 cells provide you with a nominal range of 10 meters between the transmitting and receiving cells.

Presentation of PROEM CIR10 infrared cells Thanks to infrared cells, you can ensure optimal security for your motors such as gates, garage doors, roller shutters, automatic doors, etc. If an obstacle interferes with the path of the infrared signals, the infrared cells will automatically send a signal to your motorization system, which will stop the opening and closing of your motorization. This will prevent damage to your engines and will increase their safety. They were designed by the PRO EM brand, in the same line as the CIR5 infrared cells. The difference with this model lies in the range: PROEM CIR10 infrared cells have twice the range of CIR5 infrared cells. The PROEM CIR10 infrared cell system is composed of two TX and TR infrared cells with fixed optics: these cells operate on a wavelength of 880nm Technical characteristics Firstly, the PROEM CIR10 infrared cells comply with CE standards. They will be guaranteed for 24 months from the date of manufacture of the product. This warranty will cover your system but not the housing of your cells. This same case is equipped with IP55 protection: this protection index guarantees you optimal protection against dust deposits and water jets. Be careful, do not leave your infrared cells in unsheltered places: they must be protected from rain, frost, and the sun. They will operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C. In terms of design, the infrared cells are very discreet and sober. Their case is black, which will offer you optimal discretion. PROEM CIR10 infrared cells are small (90 x 60 x 22mm), which gives them the advantage of being compact. Composition of the PROEM CIR10 infrared cell system The PROEM CIR10 infrared cell system contains several tools allowing you to install and set up your infrared system. The system is therefore composed of: A seal A transmitter cell (3 terminals) A receiver cell (8 terminals) 8 cell fixing screws 4 cover fixing screws 8 plastic plugs A drilling template This kit will be necessary for the installation of your infrared cells. Installation of PROEM CIR10 infrared cells In order to guarantee adequate and quality installation, you will need to follow the following steps: 1st step: Start by identifying the location of the fixing holes. To do this, use the drilling template supplied with the infrared cells. 2nd step: Drill the fixing holes 3rd step: Position the dowels in place 4th step: Assemble the gasket and the cell 5th step: Secure the cell using the screws provided 6th step: Check the alignment of the cells* 7th step : Make the final electrical connections then power the receiver and transmitter (transmitter = 12 Vac/dc = terminals 0-12; receiver = 24 Vac/dc = terminals 0-24) 8th step: Make the adjustments 9th step: Secure the cover using the screws provided *to check the alignment of the cells, you will need to arrange the beams correctly: your transmitting cell will need to be aligned opposite your receiving cell. The correct positioning of your cells will be indicated to you by the red LED (LR): this turns off when the cells are correctly aligned. What the LEDs mean The LEDs will turn on and off to inform you about power or operation of your infrared cells. So, when the green LED is lit on your transmitting or receiving cell, it means that it is correctly powered. On the receiver, the red LED is lit indicating poor cell alignment. It will only turn off when the two cells are correctly aligned. Why order PROEM CIR10 infrared cells from Allo Remotecontrol?
