Presentation of the FAAC TM2 XT-1 Transmitter

First of all, this transmitter FAAC TM2 XT-1 has been designed by FAAC to provide you with additional comfort when operating your automation systems. Before it can be used correctly, you will need to connect your transmitter to the receiver(s) of your choice.

The transmission system between the transmitter and the receiver is none other than radio transmission. This transmission will take place from an antenna, which you will need to adjust beforehand. During transmission, the front white LED on your FAAC TM2 XT-1 transmitter will be activated.

All FAAC products come with a 24-month warranty from the date of manufacture, as well as EU compliance certification. Furthermore, this certification ensures the origin of the materials and their quality.

Batteries and Power Supply

Your transmitter has a frequency of 433.92 MHz. It is powered by two 1.5 V LR03 (AAA) batteries. The white LED will indicate whether the batteries are charged or not. It blinks when the batteries are low and remains steady when the batteries are charged.

Warning: if your batteries are low, only replace them with batteries compatible with your transmitter. Compliant batteries are only 1.5V LR03 (AAA) batteries. If you insert batteries with a different voltage, there is a risk of battery explosion. Finally, please respect the compatibilities. To insert the batteries into your remote control, simply slide the cover located at the back of your remote.

Technical Specifications

This transmitter will allow you to control your automation systems without constraints: indeed, you can open and close all your motorization systems (gates, doors, garage doors, shutters) remotely. The FAAC TM2 XT-1 transmitter can control them from up to 150m away, which is extremely convenient if you want to close your gate while on your way or from your home. No need to be close to your motorization to control it.

This transmitter features a rolling code system, also known as Rolling code. This system will provide you with the security you expect. The code sent by your transmitter with each press will be constantly unique and uncloneable.

This ensures the inviolability of your motorization system. Additionally, its dimensions (160 x 30mm) and shape have been designed for your daily comfort. Finally, do not use this remote control beyond the following temperatures: -10°C/+50°C.

Also, using this remote control daily will not pose any constraints. Its weight of 100g has been calculated to provide you with better handling.

Design and Shape

The design of this remote control is unparalleled: indeed, FAAC has chosen to conceptualize remote controls in a cylindrical shape. Just like the FAAC TM2 XT-1 remote control, the FAAC TM2 XTS-1 remote control also benefits from this rather original shape. This shape will provide additional comfort.

All its edges are rounded and perfectly fit the contours of your hand, ensuring grip and support. The difference between these two FAAC remote controls lies in the solar function, which is not available in the FAAC TM2 XT-1 remote control. Do not confuse the two remote controls when making your purchase: two buttons with sun symbols are located at the bottom of the FAAC TM2 XTS-1 remote control, which do not appear on the FAAC TM2 XT-1 remote control.

Programming

Programming your FAAC TM2 XT-1 transmitter will be simple, quick, and effective. To do this, you just need to perform key combinations. These will be detailed in your manual (the corresponding keys are keys A-B-C: they are located behind the battery cover). Follow it carefully to achieve optimal programming.
