MARANTEC D526-868 keypad presentation
This keypad has been designed to simplify all your daily automation control tasks. You can dial up to 3 different codes on the 3 available channels. It is compatible with all MARANTEC operators operating on the same frequency, i.e. 868Mhz, but please note: if you have a Comfort-type motor (e.g. systems 260, 270, 280, 360, 370, 380), you will need a Digitale 921 antenna, part no. MA101180, otherwise your motor will not be compatible with bi-linked technology.
The frequency can be identified on the quartz in your receiver case. The frequency is always represented in \”Mhz\”: if you find numbers without the \”Mhz\” sign, it\’s not the frequency.
This keypad can also be used to control lighting systems, if connected to a universal receiver, or to the operator. To program this function, please refer to your manual, where all the steps will be explained in detail.
MARANTEC D526-868 keypad technical specifications
This type of keypad operates at a frequency of 868Mhz, using 1.5 V AAA batteries. Its elegant, sliding casing is protected from water jets and foreign bodies, thanks in particular to its IP54 protection rating. You can use it between -20°C and +60°C, beyond which its capabilities could be seriously compromised. When closed, its dimensions are 81 x 118 x 35mm, promising a space-saving and practical accessory. For greater comfort, we recommend wall mounting.
Thanks to its sliding casing, you can protect it from external aggression, or prevent other people from controlling your motorizations. The buttons on your keypad will be illuminated for greater comfort and visibility, and the LEDs on your keypad will let you know the status or position of your motorization.
The MARANTEC D526-868 keypad is equipped with a powerful bi-linked system, optimizing the comfort and security of your keypad and motorization system.
LED displays
LED status is important for programming. If code entry has failed, the LEDs flash for 2 seconds. Depending on the flashing, the red LEDs will indicate an error, or on the contrary, the success of the procedure.
First programming
Your first master PIN is \”0000\”, which resets automatically after resetting the keypad. The memory can only store 3 PINs. If you enter a PIN with more than 4 digits, your MARANTEC D526-868 keypad will only remember the last 4 digits.
To enter your first PIN, please follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Start by setting your operator, control unit or receiver to radio signal programming mode: if this step is carried out correctly, the \”radio\” logo should flash on your operator or control unit.
Step 2: You can now enter the 4-digit PIN code of your choice. This PIN will be the master PIN for your keypad: confirm by pressing \”Enter\”.
Step 3: Enter another 4-digit user PIN and confirm with \”Enter\”.
Step 4: Your master and user PIN codes have been correctly saved.
Step 5: To complete programming, don\’t forget to deactivate the radio logo on your operator or control unit.
During code programming, the LEDs will indicate the status of the procedure: a legend is available on your keypad manual, which will help you keep track of programming progress.
