Description

This next-generation code keyboard will offer you an ocean of possibilities: with it, you can control all your motorization systems and register up to 99 users thanks to its 10 channels.

Presentation of the ALLMATIC RK3 Code Keyboard

This transmitter comes in the form of a code keyboard or “digicode”: digicodes are known to be particularly effective systems and, above all, much more secure than traditional 2 or 4 button transmitters or remote controls. Indeed, thanks to the code opening system, your motorization systems will be much more difficult to hack or force with a code than with a traditional opening and closing system by simple press. This system is designed to be wireless and will operate via radio frequencies, and its power supply will be provided by batteries. It is extremely useful for residences, as it can memorize up to 99 different users. However, you can also use it at home to secure the opening of your gate.

This code keyboard is equipped with an ABS casing, recognized for its excellent insulation properties and shock resistance. Additionally, the casing has an IP65 protection rating, which will make your code keyboard dust-tight and protect it against water jets from all sides of the casing.

Compatibility

This transmitter will be compatible with all receivers in the ALLMATIC range benefiting from Rolling code and offering a frequency of 433.92 Mhz. Generally, it is combined with the ALLMATIC B.RO22 and ALLMATIC B.RO44 receivers.

Design and Ergonomics

This digicode will offer you the comfort you expected to control your automation systems. Small and unobtrusive, you can easily mount it on your wall for even more accessible control.

The keys of the keyboard are backlit to provide you with better visibility of the keys in all circumstances. This adds a certain originality and a futuristic style. These same keys are made of polycarbonate: polycarbonate is a transparent plastic known for being extremely durable and difficult to ignite or deform. Thanks to this material, your keys will be resistant to shocks, scratches, and any external aggression.

In addition to being durable, they are backlit to allow you to enter your code, even at night. You can disable this function at any time using the dip switch located on the back of your digicode: this dip switch will activate or deactivate the buzzer and the backlighting of your keys.

Moreover, it is advisable to set the dip switches to the OFF position when finalizing the programming to save energy and thus maintain the battery life.

Your digicode ALLMATIC RK3 is also composed of 3 LEDs (green, red, and amber), which will allow you to know the status of your digicode.

The Meaning of the LEDs on the ALLMATIC RK3 Digicode

The LEDs play an important role in access control and motorization systems. They keep you informed of the different ongoing procedures, system errors, or the status of your system.

  • The green LED of the digicode will indicate an error or the confirmation of your code, and will let you know that a transmission is in progress. This LED will also light up with each press of the buttons on your digicode.
  • The red LED will indicate that your keyboard is unlocked
  • The amber LED confirms entry into the configuration menu

Battery, Dimensions, and Range

This digicode will require 9V batteries, which you can change approximately every two years to ensure the proper functioning of your code keyboard. The dimensions of this digicode are around 119.5 x 83.5 x 40 mm, making it a compact digicode that can be easily mounted on your wall. You can install it more than 100 meters away from your receiver, as it has a range of 120m in open field.
