How to Program the NICE PLANO 1 Remote Control

Before you can use a new roller shutter remote, you will generally need to program it. The programming method may vary from one roller shutter remote to another. For the NICE remote model we are discussing here, it can be done in 2 ways. You can either use a remote that is already functional on your roller shutter receiver or use the receiver itself.

Programming from an Already Functional Remote

1. First, take both remotes in hand, namely the already functional remote and the new NICE remote, and position yourself near your motorized and automated roller shutter.
2. Press and hold the first button of your new NICE remote for more than 5 seconds. The first button is usually the one on the left or above, depending on their layout.
3. On the already functioning remote, you need to press the first button 3 times as well. Each press should last at least one second.
4. Finally, press the first button of the new remote again for one second before releasing. You will then need to wait for 10 seconds before testing your new remote.

Programming from the Receiver of Your Motorized and Automated Roller Shutter

1. You must first open the receiver of your roller shutter. This will allow you to access the programming button.
2. Press this button on the receiver. You will only release it when a light comes on the receiver board.
3. Then, you need to press once on one of the buttons of your new NICE remote. The light on the receiver should then turn off.
4. Wait for one second before pressing again on the button of your new roller shutter remote.
5. The light on the receiver should then blink 3 times. This means that the programming has been successfully completed. If the light only blinks 2 times, you will need to start over.
