Programming the NICE ERA W1 remote control
It is well known that before you can use a roller shutter remote control, it is generally necessary to program it. This programming allows you to link the remote control to motorized and automated devices. To do this, you can either use a functional remote control or the receiver of your roller shutter.
Programming from an already functional wall-mounted remote
- Stand near your roller shutter. Then, bring the two remotes close together: the already functional wall-mounted remote and the remote to be programmed.
- The new NICE remote has an UP button. Press and hold it. The indicator light on your already functional remote should then light up steadily.
- You can then release the button on the new NICE remote. At this point, the indicator light should start blinking.
- Next, you need to press the DOWN button on the already functional remote once. The indicator light on each remote should then blink.
- After a few seconds, these indicators will normally turn off. This means that your new NICE remote has been programmed correctly.
Program your wall-mounted remote from the receiver
- You first need to open the casing of your receiver located near the roller shutter. You will then access the receiver’s board.
- On this board, you will need to press the programming button, which is very easy to locate. You will need to hold it down. You will only release the button when the indicator light on the receiver lights up.
- Then, you will need to press one of the three buttons on your NICE ERA W1 remote once. The indicator light on the receiver should then turn off.
- Wait for 1 second and press the same button on your new remote again. The indicator light on the receiver will blink 3 times.
- Then, just wait 10 seconds and your new wall-mounted remote will be perfectly programmed.
